New Salem Family,
As the colder months approach, many adults in our community are in need of warm coats to stay safe and comfortable. New Salem’s Community of Caring Development Foundation (COCDF) is partnering with Columbus Public Health and the Linden Anti-Violence Team for the 2nd Annual Linden Community Adult Coat Drive — and we invite you to join us in making a meaningful impact this winter season.
Event Details:
Please see the attached flyer for additional information.
We are joining with local organizations, businesses, and city leaders to collect and distribute coats and essential items to our Linden neighbors. You can support this effort by:
•Donating new or gently used adult coats
•Donating new hat & glove sets, scarves, and hygiene items (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, disposable body wipes, etc.)
•Volunteering during the coat drive
•Helping spread the word throughout the community
Drop-Off Location & Hours:
All items may be delivered Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Linden Fresh Market • 1464 Cleveland Ave.
New Salem Baptist Church • 2956 Cleveland Ave.
Together, we can ensure that every adult in our community stays warm, covered, and cared for this winter.
