Academic Tutoring

If you have a child in Kindergarten through 12th grade that is in need of tutoring contact the academic tutoring ministry (614) 930-2242. Tutoring is available 1-on-1 by appointment or if you prefer, join our open study table starting at 3:00 pm prior to Youth Bible Study.

When:  Wednesdays (3:00 pm to 5:00 pm)

Women of Power Clothing Boutique

When:  Wednesdays (5:00 pm to 7:00 pm)

Where:  New Salem Missions House, 1880 Agler Road, Columbus, Ohio 43224

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me"  Matthew 25:35-36

Gently used shoes and clothing (infants, children, youth, men, and women), fragrances, and toiletry items.
Donations:  Gently used, clean clothing accepted on Wednesdays (5:00 pm to 7:00 pm) at the botique.  All clothing must be cleaned and placed on hangers.  Bags of clothing will not be accepted.

New Salem Interfaith Legal Clinic

New Salem offeres brief legal advice and referral through our Legal Clinic.  In partnership with the Columbus Bar Association and the Legal Aid Society of Columbus, attorney volunteers meet with individuals to analyze problems, identify community resources, and offer legal advice on a variety of topics.     

When:  Monthly - the fourth (4th) Monday (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm) - No appointments WALK-INS only

The Ohio Benefit Bank is designed to make it simpler for people in Ohio to connect with programs and resources that can make those decisions a little bit easier.  Our site offers access to benefits and voter registration.  Open to the public by appointment only.
